A Spring Clean for your Laptop!
Upgrading your laptop software can sometimes be extremely difficult especially if you aren’t familiar with software and technology!
Laptops in particular can be a little fragile at times due to being portable and because generally then get moved around a lot during the day especially if you work from multiple locations. Laptops can start to show signs of wear and tear such as keyboards not working, screens malfunctioning or cracking due to pressure placed upon them. Replacing components within a laptop comes with its own procedure and varies by model as each one is made slightly different.
Replacing a LCD screen can be rather time consuming or a quick fix. Some models simply have a few screws and clips to allow access to the frame, however others require the laptop to be taken apart piece by piece. All screens are connected via a ribbon like cable and so once you have access to the screen it’s a simply case of removing the old and broken screen and replacing it with a new one. There is also a similar process when replacing a keyboard.
