When you think about it: what CAN’T you do on your mobile these days?
It’s as powerful as a computer. And with more people working remotely, all businesses are relying on these devices to stay connected. But if you’re using your phone for business activities, it’s important to ensure it has the same level of protection as the PC in your office.
Here are 3 ways to keep your mobile safe:
- Switch on advanced password protection. Just in case your phone gets lost or stolen, make sure you turn on advanced password protection like Face ID so that people cannot access your stored data
- Make sure lost or stolen devices can be tracked, locked or wiped. If you phone does go missing, make sure you are able to remotely track, lock or erase the data stored on your phone.
- Don’t connect to unknown Wi-Fi hotspots. Connecting your phone to unknown Wi-Fi hotspots puts your mobile and your data at risk from cyber-crime. If you’re out and about, try to use 4G. Or connect to your VPN, your Virtual Private Network.
