On the road again – The Big Bolton Conversation
October 2017 is going to be a busy month for Smarter Technologies. On Tuesday, 17th October 2017 8am – 1pm, we are going to be a featured supplier at the Big Bolton Conversation expo at the Bridge Conference Centre, in Bolton. Over 200 local business people are expected to attend the event over the course of the morning, and there will be 20 exhibitors (including us), networking sessions, motivational presentations, and refreshments on offer.
At a time when lots of business and interactions are taking place in the virtual world, the theme for the 2017 expo is Building Relationships and Business Authenticity, bringing the face and person back into industry, and one which echoes our own values as a company.
Smarter Technologies’ Managing Director, John Miller is getting ready for the expo: “We are really looking forward to this event as a featured supplier, and we hope to meet lots of new people. We hope it will be a great success for all our local businesses.”

The rest of the Smarter Technologies team will also be on hand to answer your questions about business network infrastructure and IT in general and, as we are a completely independent company, you know that you’ll get totally unbiased advice from us. Make sure that you come along and say hello to us when you arrive and don’t forget your business cards!
As well as the expo, the organisers have also booked 2 top-quality speakers for the event who shouldn’t be missed: Brad Burton, motivational speaker and Salford-born entrepreneur who founded the international networking event 4Networking, and Ben Kench, business coach, author and founder of The Business Booster and Business Channel TV. We strongly recommend that you pop in to hear them speak between networking and looking at what our considerable, local business talent has to offer.
Don’t forget that there are some great networking events planned for the morning. Starting from 8am, you can meet new contacts and renew older associations, participate in speed networking, find new suppliers and get motivated. There’s free parking around the venue too!
For the early birds, there will be breakfast on offer (check your ticket eligibility) and refreshments throughout the session. Lunch is provided before the close of the expo. All that remains to be done, is for you to book your tickets, get your business cards out and get along to the Bridge Conference Centre at 8am on Tues 17th October, don’t miss it!
